The Morning Rituals of Successful Female Entrepreneurs'
Morning time for me is my commitment to my personal happiness. Running any business will take a toll on your physical and mental health, so it is vital to learn to switch off every now and then, and maintain a commitment to yourself, and not devote 100% of your energy to your business, because trust me it is very easy to work until midnight, when you're passionate, driven and determined to achieve your goals. This morning ritual is my pledge to myself, because if you want your business to succeed, you need to be your best self. Always. I've been through burnout before, I learnt the hard way. Your body will always communicate to you when it is time to slow down, but our minds have a very good way of ignoring it. This is our lesson, that our personal health and wellbeing is not to be put to the side, after sending that urgent email. It will still be there waiting for you, right after you have had a small moment to breather and reset.
My first go to is a big tall glass of warm water with a squeeze of lemon, I am incredibly connected to how important your gut health is. So If i know I'm having a low week or day from my autoimmune, ill have a cup of bone broth as soon as i wake up as well. Then it is straight down to Bondi Beach for a soft sand walk or run, and a dive in the ocean and a mini meditation down the south end. This is my non negotiable. Unless its a storming or hailing, Ill be there! This is so vital to my mental health, to get my soul, body and mind aligned and prepared for what i know will be another huge day. This is my time to reflect, re-energise and completely re-set before business mode switches on. Ill finish off my perfect morning exercise with a green juice.
Finding a routine, ritual or moment in your day is incredibly simple. If you can manage to fit in everything else to make your business run, then trust me half an hour in the morning would be a breeze to fit in. Find out what it is that makes you truly happy and truly re-set, and make the commitment. Make the pledge to yourself, because when you are feeling fresh, amazing and energised your business automatically transcends the same energy you put out. It all goes full circle. Your team will notice it, your clients will adore it and your motivation for yourself and your success will bloom.
