WHY WE CHOOSE GLASS
Sol Chooses Hand Blown Glass. It has a sleek and sexy design, It is lightweight and best of all is made from naturally abundant materials – namely sand – and is far less permeable than plastics. Meaning our hand blown glass won’t absorb residual tastes, odours or germs, and won’t leach chemicals (known to be endocrine disruptors in the body) into your beverage. As a result, SoL Cups offer purity of taste. Your drink is fresher and cleaner, and you’ll have zero concerns for your health.
SoL is strong, lightweight and 100% plastic free, as well as being microwave and dishwasher safe.
GOOD FOR THE SOUL
About one third of waste disposal facilities is made up of packaging materials. Each year in Australia, over more than one billion takeaway coffee cups are produced and disposed of. Unfortunately, disposable coffee cups with a film of polyethylene are not recyclable and release methane gas when sent to landfill.
We designed SoL Cups to help people move from a throwaway mindset to a more environmentally supportive one, so we can all be kind to the world around us. They’re portable, convenient, aesthetically pleasing, and infinitely reusable. Become a #SoLMATE today!
SOL SIGNATURE SLEEVE

SoL Cups, Founded by Rebecca Veksler is an Australian owned company, born from a desire to make a reusable cup that is plastic free and won’t compromise your health.
Rebecca took her passion for inspiring and empowering people, and her love for business to create a product that she truly believed in. She is also the youngest board member, and Vice President of the Bondi & Districts Chamber Of Commerce.
After a life changing year, overcoming Autoimmune and health obstacles, Sol Cups was born out of a mission to share her family’s knowledge and passion of health with as many people as possible.
We choose to use hand blown glass because it is a more sustainable and ethical manufacturing process, to suit our plastic free mission.
We’ve done in-depth research about the harmful impact the use of plastics has on the human body and environment, and we want to share our passion for wellbeing with as many people as possible. A journey from personal health and a desire to make the world a cleaner and greener place, Sol cups are designed to work with your drink, with your body and with the environment.
At SoL, sustainability is at the core of our business, from the materials we choose to the projects we engage in to give back to our SoL community.
Silicone recycling initiative
All our materials are specifically chosen for being high quality, chemical free, made from recycled materials with minimal environmental impact, that in turn can be recycled at their end of life.
In some locations we understand local councils do not provide a recycling service for silicone which is why we recycle our products with TerraCycle via their Zero Waste Box system.
If you have a silicone piece that needs to be disposed, please send it back to us at the below address for it to be properly recycled and given a second life.

Partnership with Reforest Now
SoL has partnered with reforestation charity ReForest Now to donate £1 from every sale in the UK and EU to plant trees - transforming cleared land back to rainforest, supporting endangered species and encouraging rich ecosystems.
Planting trees is also a direct climate action. Every tree planted sequesters CO2 from the air to combat this global issue and offsets any carbon emissions produced via the production and transportation of our goods.
Every time you purchase a SoL product from our solcups.co.uk website, you are directly supporting this initiative to plant trees – increasing the biodiversity of plant and animal life and combatting climate change.
Thanks for being a #solmate.
